Tinker Valley (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how our Facebook Developer App (the “App”) uses and safeguards information when connecting to Instagram accounts in order to display feeds on websites built by Tinker Valley.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your Instagram account to a website we’ve built using our App, we may collect the following information from your Instagram profile via the Facebook/Instagram API:

  • Instagram account ID

  • Instagram username

  • Profile picture

  • Public media (e.g., images, captions, links, and timestamps)

We do not collect your password or any private messages.

2. How We Use the Information

The information collected is used solely to:

  • Display your public Instagram feed on your website

  • Ensure the content remains up to date

  • Maintain functionality and integration through the Facebook API

We do not use this data for analytics, marketing, or any other purposes outside of feed display.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.

We may share information only if required:

  • To comply with legal obligations

  • To protect our rights or investigate misuse

4. Data Retention

We store only the minimal data required to maintain your feed integration, such as your Instagram account ID and media links, and only for as long as your feed is active on your website. If the integration is removed, this data is also deleted.

5. Your Choices

At any time, you can:

  • Revoke access to the App via your Instagram settings

  • Request deletion of any data we have stored by contacting us directly

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy

This App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
